Ixonia Food Pantry
The Ixonia Food Pantry is an outreach mission of the First Baptist Church. The church covers all costs of running the pantry, which means all donations go directly to the food and items for our clients.
The Pantry was set up to serve those in the Ixonia Township, and the Oconomowoc School District. We will not turn anyone away, but will direct them to the pantry they should use. No one will leave without help being given.
The Pantry is open the second and third Tuesday of each month. We open at noon and remain open till 7:00 PM. We do ask for some form of identication, preferably with a photo. Clients can use the pantry once each month.
We have pre--packaged bags filled with nutritional items. We also offer personal selections so folks can choose foods they really like. During the harvest season, local gardeners share the bounty of their gardens so fresh produce is avaliable at that time.
We are always happy to accept food or monetary donations. If you have a large amount of food you wish to donate, feel free to call me and set up a time to meet at the food pantry. If you are intrested in volunteering to help us serve the community, please call me as well.
If you, or if you know of someone who could use some help, please let them know we are here to offer a helping hand.
